This week Bassetlaw MP John Mann welcomed WWF’s new budget report at its launch in Westminster.
Mann commented: “I was very pleased to speak at the launch of WWF’s important new report which outlines how politicians can make the economy more sustainable.”
“Having worked with the WWF in the past to bring in laws to protect endangered animals I welcomed this opportunity to support their report. I also set out how I think politicians should be shifting powers away from Westminster and towards local communities.”
“On issues such as fracking, building houses and access to green spaces local people should be able to have the ultimate say. They should be given both the power and the resources to make local decisions which will benefit us all in the long run.”
